Overview

Food from the past still exists, packaged decades or even centuries ago, laying in forgotten bunkers and pantries around the world. These foods have long since expired…or have they? Collectors everywhere save the bottles, tins, and boxes they come in, but not many do what Josh and Old Smokey do. They collect, unbox, examine, and eat the oldest, most iconic foods to have survived history. It’s the best way they’ve found to experience history first hand. Each food’s packaging, ingredients, smell, and taste transports them to a different place and time, unlocking forgotten nostalgia and unbelievable true stories about the lives and times of the nation’s past.
