Overview

Remake of a Norwegian series about the dusty village of Harkum. The Mayor finds out one day that there is speculation with municipal money on the stock exchange. At first the money seems to have disappeared, but then the village suddenly turns out to have made a profit of 700 million euros. The mayor has "money to burn" and he no longer has to worry about the cuts in the coffee pods in the canteen and the subsidy for the church choir. But how long does this happiness take? And when does the national government come to recover? While "the sky is the limit" seems to be the new motto for Harkum, there is also an idea for a megalomaniac plan.
